Due to the coronavirus response in the state of Pennsylvania, WellSpan Health is making changes to several facility operations in Franklin County. 

WellSpan Urgent Care

WellSpan Urgent Care, 1000 Norland Ave., Chambersburg is open solely to providing non-emergency care for COVID-19 patients. Patients who have no emergent health needs and are either confirmed or suspected by a healthcare provider to have COVID-19 can visit one of the following locations for non-emergency treatment of health concerns: This care location is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

WellSpan Lab Services

WellSpan Lab Services at 12 St. Paul Dr., Chambersburg, will no longer have Saturday hours beginning Saturday, March 28.

Beginning Tuesday, March 31, the following WellSpan Lab Services locations will be temporarily closed:

  • 50 Eastern Avenue, Greencastle
  • 761 Fifth Avenue, Chambersburg
  • 6155 Anthony Highway, Waynesboro

Billing Offices

Patient Accounting is closed to walk-in patients. Please call us at (717) 267-7129 if you need assistance.  Payments may be made over the phone or online at SummitHealth.org/PayMyBill

WellSpan Weight Management

The office of WellSpan Weight Management, 1624 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, is closed until further notice. Patients may continue to call (717) 267-6427 during regular business hours.

WellSpan Internal Medicine

WellSpan Internal Medicine - Scotland Avenue is temporarily seeing patients out of our WellSpan Family Medicine location at 12 St. Paul Drive, Chambersburg, Suite 101. Please call 717-217-6055 with any questions or to schedule an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and support of Menno Haven residents.

Results Fitness

Following recommendations from the Governor’s office, Results Fitness will be closed Monday, March 16 and stay closed through March 30. 

“The Governor’s office is urging people to limit recreational activities, including travel to gyms,” said John Massimilla, chief operating officer, WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. “As the largest healthcare provider in Central Pennsylvania, it is our responsibility to be partners in the mission to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the state.”

After March 30, WellSpan will reassess operational hours based on guidance from state officials.

“We value our members and we want to honor memberships paid to date, members will receive a prorated rate for two weeks on their next bill,” said Massimilla.

Gym members can find additional information and stay up to date on hours of operation by visiting the Results Fitness Facebook page or by calling 717-262-4650.

This closure only applies to the fitness center. WellSpan Rehabilitation and WellSpan Cardiac Rehabilitation are still open and operating normal business hours.    

Fast Care and Convenient Care

Fast Care located at 993 Wayne Ave. will be closing effective the close of business on Monday, March 16.

“To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, we believe those who are experiencing symptoms should stay away from public areas, like the grocery store,” said Niki Hinkle, senior vice president of physician services. “We invite the public to utilize Urgent Care or Family Medicine for all care needs.”

Individuals with symptoms consistent with coronavirus including cough, fever and shortness of breath, should call their care location before arriving.  

Convenient Care locations at Wilson College and Waynesboro High School will also be closed until further notice beginning March 17.
