Bio
Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine: To quote Sir William Osler, First Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University: "To prevent disease, to relieve suffering and to heal the sick–this is our work." I thought it would be wonderful to spend my professional life doing Osler's work. I still do.
What patients should expect when they come to an appointment with me: Expect to find a doctor who washes his hands, listens to you, and takes the time to explain things. He will be surrounded by a wonderful, compassionate, knowledgeable staff.
What I do when I’m not seeing patients: I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also like to eat a hearty breakfast and read the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
